All developed metropolises clearly have their own tourist area and Quito is no exception. In our beautiful city it is the world renowned neighbourhood called Mariscal Sucre, which we lovingly refer to as La Mariscal. In Italy the Italians do a similar thing giving names such as “La Ferrari”, “La Maquina”, and “La Dona”. La Mariscal is an area where everything comes together, where locals and foreigners alike fully enjoy everything this neighbourhood can offer; countless cafes, galleries, bookshops, hotels and boutique hotels and finally, anything that the traveller or anyone wanting to have a good time would ever want.
